Just to let you know I have tried out the netzero voice program and it works. If you have an internet connection you can call back to the states unlimited for free. You have voice mail etc. I pay 15 a month and it is cheaper than my cell phone. Might be an option to some others overseas and it works good for stateside. :2cents

Drifter go to www.netzerovoice.com and it will show you how to use it and get started
At 5 bucks a minute on my cell phone in Azerbaijan it will be nice to have it unlimited for the monthly charge.
Another good one is www.iconnecthere.com. If you have an internet connection, you can use your computer to call a land-line back home. Of course the quicker the connection the quicker the call, but even with slow dialup there is usually no more than a 1 to 2 second delay. We get 1000 minutes to the States and 250 minutes to Europe for a total of $14.95/month.
