Telecom guys, be sure to let him know where you heard about it. A friend of mine talked to them and they need someone there yesterday, but he said the guy he talked to seem like a good guy.

I know, but I'd rather hear from these guys here that are either there or were there, not a job listing. Sounds like Pops is/was.

I was interested in seeing what that project was like, etc. Not just reading the ad about it. I'm working for Avaya now (I just got my ACA), but with the new union contract due and the contract between Avaya and the Air Force due, who knows what the future will hold, plus the fact I miss the overseas work.

Again, it's all in that thread link listed.

I was looking for personal experiences on the location.

How come the missing posts from pops and the other one?

Not missing, just moved due to Admin Triggers. That is one of the benefits of subscribing. Sorry to beat a dead horse.

Gabriele, I was there during the summer and late fall, it was HOT then. The great thing is the people speak a version of English and they can understand you, even when you can't understand them. Mama said if you can't say anything good about someone, don't say anything. Question this: why are the telecom people all gone or leaving?

There were some good people there. ( I retired from Avaya w/31+, good luck with that.) Don't know why my earlier remarks were moved, I just said I had been there???

I retired from Lucent in 1997 with 28 years and then did a variety of things when this opening came up.

I listen to all the "young" folks here, some things never change.
