It is a little boring over here right now. I have got some fun and
thought provoking work to do and my days are busy enough,
However, the nights are about as much fun as watching grass grow and
camels eating it.
I scouted some property over near Odiihs Palace about two clicks east
of the presidential palace here in the IZ that looks promising.
I am thinking of opening a nightclub, I think I will call it Baghdaddy’s
Discothèque & Bomb Shelter. (Catchy isn’t it) or just Johnny’s Sand In
Your Crack Lounge. We’re still brainstorming the name and I’m sure we will
come up with something.
We’ll have exotic table dances in front and OTB type gambling in the back. We
will make book on camel racing, civilian causalities, and kidnappings on a
daily basis. Car and roadside bombings will be calculated based on a 24-hour
period broken down into quarters, and of course, with a parlay you can
triple your money. Rocket and mortar round bets will be win/place/show,
and quinella and trifecta bets only, $5 min bet.
Probably have gimmicks as well, like (Thursdays) wear a tablecloth
around your head/no cover charge. In addition, (Wednesdays) unescorted Iraqi
girls pay according to how many teeth they have, let’s say 10 cents a tooth
(average about $1 a drink). (Fridays) Dumb Grunt night. Soldiers can pay $1
a chance to charge head first into an anvil, if you are still standing after
three tries you win a certificate for five pitchers of beer.
As you can see, the possibilities are unlimited. We’re talking
franchise rights and the whole nine yards.
