Before any of this post makes sense, you will have to REGISTER.
First, one thing that you need to know is what a UserCP is. If you're new to this time of internet communication, it sounds intimidating, but it is not. On every page you find these options once you log in:

Do you see them?
User CP stands for User(that is you) control panel. That means you can control several options of your account.
What you're going to want to do, is first, open another Internet explorer and log into Rat Pack again. click on UserCP. By doing this you can read the directions as you go along in the other window.
The Top option is Edit Signature. A signature is nothing more than a quote you like, or something you say a lot IE: Robert Fairley Barking "ROOF". It is posted along with every post you make automatically if you fill that out.
Next is Email and Password, but since you filled that out with registration, it really only applies to if you change your email.
Edit Profile, this is something other members can click on to learn more about you. Just fill out what you feel comfortable with and leave the others blank.
Edit Options if you follow along and read them, they will tell you what each option does by turning it on or off. You can even be invisible while on the site. Logged in and no one will know you are here.
Edit Avatar If you look under my name, you will see the little HeadRat picture, THAT is an avatar. You can chose to not use one or to put anything you want there, NONE PORN GRAPHIC, just as long as you use an image editor that saves to .gif or .jpg and is sized at 80x80 pixels.
Edit Profile Picture This is just that, when people click on your Profile that you have edited from the above, a picture will show up with it as well. Again this can be anything you want or nothing at all by not even touching it. This one is allowed for sizes up to 100x100 pixels.
All the others are pretty much self explanitory, except for Buddy Ignore List. This is where if someone is on here that annoys you, you don't like or you just don't want to deal with, you can click their profile name into the ignore list, and you will never see or hear from them. Even what they post will not come up. It will to anyone not ignoring them, but not you.
On the flip side of this button, you can also add buddies to your list that you want to send private messages too. By doing this, you can have your own conversations and not even post them. Kind of like email, but you have to be logged into the site and click private messages at the top to get to them.
