:cheers To be honest I have only been a full member on this site for about a month now, so even though I haven't found work on this site and am currently working in Iraq, I think this is the best site to find work if I were looking for it. This is the old expat network I have always told people about for years it's just on the Internet now. The information that is on here as a full member is well worth the admission, and It's the guys on this site not the information on here that will land you your next job. :rockwoot:
I am looking for work and there is a lot of info here. I made a few calls and when I say where I heard about them from, I tell them “Rat Pack International” and then they seem to be happy. Well wish me luck cause I need work. I have been out of it for 7months and trying to land something.

Could this great information be moved over to the Forum for Telecom/tech area, so we can keep Gabe's wonderful info in one location? Good post Gabe! :cheers
The electrical apprenticeship I think should be available for all. We have many that come on site looking to get a foot in the door...Maybe we should start a forum for people looking for their first big shot. Mine was at $15.00 and hour back in the early '90's. My father thought I was a fool to leave the best paying Union Job in as a Journeyman Electrician working for an industrial contractor busting my ass at 7-12's at the steel mills, for a job where I had to start all over again... working overseas...it was unheard of. All of my buddies said I was crazy. I had a great job, a great gal, all the bennies....but I saw the chance, and went for it.
I am so thankful for the support of guys like John Cuffari, and Jeff Stevenson, and Johnny Herold...three of the best Wiremen I ever had a chance to learn from. They were rough, and at times I wanted to give up, but they believed in me. That is how many of us learn... I only hope I can return the favor 100 times over someday... and be rough to them too!! :cheers
Great info Gabe :cheers
Oh yeah, back on topic...I have gained pretty good insite, better than anywhere else, and have definitely received jobs from this site
