I have applied to many companies but they all want some type of clearance. I do not hold a clearance and no one is willing to hire with out a clearance for over seas jobs.
Here is a little info about me, 12 years in the field installing OSP fiber and Copper. Fusion splicing, certified by Corning, Draka, Sumitomo, and Fujikura (AFL) systems. Experienced trouble shooting and repairing systems using OTDRs, Power Meters, Osciloscopes Etc. Ex Navy Aviatin Electronics Technician I Level. I am a programmer of Nortel Mics and Cics, Avaya Partner, NEC DS 2000 and Vodavi STS Phone Systems.
Also experienced building out of Comm rooms for Disney, US Navy, Volusia County in Florida, Sarasota County in Florida, Miami Court System.
I still don't have a clearance so if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Willing to travel and relocate to any part of the world.
I am fluent in English and Spanish

1st, I appreciate you're being able to pitch, but your catching needs work. Ease back man, I was joking, don't be thin skinned, because now everybody will jump in and bash on you. You'll notice I made a joke, and then told you where to go to get clearance help...but with that quick wit and anger issues, I can see you are not cut out for this, you'd never make it.
2nd, You say Navy, did you get a security clearance in the Navy? A DOD clearance can be transferred...unless you did not qualify for one because of the lack of that requirement in your field, or something in your past.
3rd, That last post was funny if we were 12, but I think my Mickey Mouse joke was better than that. Banged your Mom? And the comment at the end of your first post... Fluent in English? Is that a skill you have to tell people about, because that is so rare these days. And I know Disney Security very well...did they let you go because you were fucking Goofy?

OK, I just wanted to post and look for some real freaking opportunity in here and I find the Atomic waste of the morons.
So you want to joke ha,
Well your better defined in the following category of elements:
A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest chemical element yet known to science. The new element has been tentatively named "Governmentium ". Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 11 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 3 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause some morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to speculate that governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass". You will know it when you see it.
This is all you emphasis on the "Critical Morass" which you belong to smart ass

Whatever, you are still a child... Clip and paste what you want. I joked with you, and told you where you can get clearance help, and you lashed back, and continue to be a child. When it comes down to it, you don't have a clearance, you have basic Telecom skills, and then you listed speaking English as one of your achievements. You are thin skinned, angry, and have to work in the US because nobody will hire you for an overseas project. I will summarize this for you, and see if I can help to pull your head out of your ass...
1) I am currently working overseas, you are not. I would like to help you. Are you willing to learn?
2) I have a TS Clearance, you do not. I am trying to help you. Yeah I joked with you, but you took it as personal, and maybe I was out of line because I hurt your feelings. I'm sorry. Please don't melt down. We are all like that in here. You better toughen up. Sisters, Mom's, Babies...whatever.
3) I am tax free up to $85,000.00, you are not. Would you like to be? If you were in the Navy, did you have a clearance?
4) We have all of the contractors contact info, you do not, but if you join, it's all in here. All you have to do is the work, we don't have all the answers, but we have a huge network that can get you the info if you ask.
5) You are angry, I am not. You might need to just be quiet and observe for a while.
6) I have been overseas with the tools and in Project management for almost 17 years. I have been in the trade for more than 25. It takes a long time and you have to be patient. Every telecom guy coming down the line has your qualifications, except THEY have a clearance, you don't. We can be of assistance, if you want.
7) Well, it looks like we both speak Engish, but the 25 Spanish speaking locations where I have worked, my makeshift Espanol has gotten me by, at least the women, my paycheck, and contractors have told me. But I still don't list it on a resume, because NOBODY CARES!
8) The Telecom skills you list are normal for your field, but will get you a job if you try, but it takes a long time. Some people get the job in 1 week, some, it takes years. Just ask Painter Mike or the Ironworkers here. It's no picnic, and no one will hand it to you.

I was just looking for the opportunity like I had mentioned before, not some smart ass answering to my thread.

Hi there.....just an observation here...none of my business but if you are making so much $$$$$ in the USA, more than all of us contractors overseas....then why would you come on this site crying about not being able to get a job overseas because you don't have a security clearance????...I don't have a clearance right now either, but I am overseas and making a pretty decent salary...but just asking a question.....and no need to be rude to others who are trying to help you out....:wtf get a life and quit crying and go change your freaking diaper, you freaking crybaby.........:sport002:

Well I was just fixing to reach out but if they let this guy in the navy with this kind of attitude I doubt if he would ever fit in down town on Sat night at some of the overseas bars I been in. First time that mouth unloaded I be buying my $5 ticket and some popcorn. And some of these guys wonder why they can never reach the ability to achieve overseas worker status.:popcorn::popcorn:

Hey,
Sign this guy up to work for KBR!!! I think he might be a good fit with some of the LOGCAP people I have encountered over the years.
And Wild Rover Great Comebacks to the little twit.
This guy is a riot and bound to go far. He has picked someone who has absolutely no influence on this site or the overseas contractors who frequently visit this site, etc., to get in a pissing contest with. (Yes, I know I ended the sentence in a preposition).
This is WR's first day, I guess.
Rover you just can't fix stupid. His skin is so thin I wonder how he puts up with all us regular folks. He must be the overseas expert, that is why he visited this site in the first place, to help us out. Surely it is time he answers with all caps and more cut and paste crap. Probably trying to figure out how to change the font on the stuff he steals.
Signed, Pops (c)2010 !
Infestation of stupid? If he goes overseas, to maybe Bumfuk, Africa, he would improve the IQ of here and there. The infestation of stupid was at a minimum until he showed up.
It seems typical these days, the young(er) want everything handed to them because they deserve it and do not need to be polite to us old wise asses to get it.
Good luck with that.
Now, after all that, child, lighten up, you are the one who mentioned Disney, sounded like fair game to me. I tell EVERYONE who will listen I am from Okla-by-God-Homa, and I take the abuse. Sheesh.

I really doubt you're making more then 85K in Florida doing fiber work.
He obviously does not need the money from working overseas, so I guess he must be trying to get away from something. I bet this will make all his many many friends sad and lonely, missing such a sweet child as this. I think he SHOULD go overseas.
One day a farmer was sitting in the barber chair when he began to moan and sob out loud. The barber asked him what was wrong. He said he was losing the family farm to the mortgage company and it had been in his family since 1888. He was the 4th generation of wheat farmers and just did not know what to do.
An old fart sitting in the corner asked if he had ever tried to raise sunflowers. All the athelets ate them, the dieters ate them, the kids loved them and he had heard the return on the investment of seed was very good.
A year later the old gent was back in the barber shop and in walked the farmer. Old guys asks how you been. The farmer says he has been looking for the old guy and wanted to thank him for his advice, it saved him and the farm. Old guys says "What happened?"
Farmer says he went to the banker and begged until he was loaned enough money to buy sunflower seed and then he planeted the whole farm in sunflowers. Old guys asks how this came out.
Farmer says, "Well I did good. I made enough to pay the bank back for the planting loan, to pay for the special harvesting equipment that was required and the mortgage is now totally paid off and I still had enough left over to buy this years wheat seed.
Some people just can't take good advice.

Gotta be a kid, rushing to name calling that quickly and refusing to listen or take advice.
Im a telecom guy and I feel like I should apologize for this dude representing our careerfield.
I have learned more than my fair share from old electricians and other tradesmen. My 1st overseas gig was in Armenia a few years back. I caught hell for being a telecom puke but it was all in good fun and I have great memories of working with the other trades. This carried over to other gigs and other countries.
Anyway, Thanks to all those guys for the hard knocks and the direction. It has led to an enjoyable overseas career. Not to mention some damn fine beer drinking stories...
I am surprised you didn't mention Pregnant Bob by name...sheeesh!
