I am new to Rat Pack & have over 25 yrs experience in construction as carpenter, drywaller, painter and more -- looking for international work, preferably in Caribbean, Central or South America. Would appreciate any information on possible jobs in those areas.

Welcome to the site.
The first thing you should do is change your user name. Pick something you like and leave your real name for the resumes. There are company shills on here at times and they can pinpoint you by your name and black ball you for something you may have said on here at one time.
Also go to forums section and scroll down to company contacts. Start at the begining and submit your resume to evry company. Then you wait. If you don't hear anything in a couple months, follow up with an "I am available" letter. You will hear something. I am just pointing out that you should not depend on getting the job from a packie. Most of these jobs sneak up on all of us.
Anyway, welcome.

I think we get the point ... your a company rep ... I hope your paying the company rep subscription rate.
If your not a rep, stop pumping that company. I know several Embassy qualified, cleared american tradesmen who have submitted their resumes to "that company", none of them have been contacted ... why?
In fact, I checked with all of them and they have submitted resumes to "that company" many times before, without receiving anything in return, not even the dreaded "we will keep your resume on file" letter.
Just go to work and write something in 6 months, after you've experienced something of Embassy work. :blahslap

Nice Post. Everybody needs to post up more opinions, either like this, or in a different opposing opinion. I love it when guys speak what's on their mind, regardless of what others think. Get involved guys, it is YOUR site. You are paying for it.
