I just finished sending several e-mails to our elected folks. One I would like you folks to send also. Where & what? Our new Director of OBO, needs to hear from our subscribers - Name is "Richard Shinnick". In my mail to him today, I asked several questions and made several comments. As this - I think the use of non american firms and non american labor to build our embassy's, is wrong. As a recent example is Gabon - what have you decided to do with that job? Complete it your self are select another contractor? Please do not allow the same firm to continue.The cost to repair, redo, correct, and complete construction, on these bad jobs is very costly! We have many qualified and cleared americans for this work. I invite you to visit our overseas worker site - with 1200+ subscribers - www.ratpackinternational.com. As it is now, we have a hard time getting any information from O.B.O, - as to which contractor was awarded what project and which sub-contractors will they use. If you decide to contimue to use non american labor on these projects ??? That number should not at any time exceed the number of american expat workers....
