Well, kids, I have finally graduated Boot Camp last week. Now we are in the AIT phase, which is learning your craft. Mine is 21 Bravo, Combat Engineer, or WE BLOW SHIT UP!!!

It's been pretty interesting to say the least. It isn't as hard as I had envisioned it, but with 35 more days till Graduation, I'm looking to get the FUCK out of Missouri's Fort "lost in the woods". Mostly, just getting away from these FUCKING kids. UGH!!! I did NOT act like this when I was 18 and the Wild Rover can vouch for me on that one. :rockwoot:

Anyway, we are on our first pass which of course is short as hell, so you KNOW I had to use the phone and the computer. All the kids are over attacking the PX and raiding it of all it's candy.

I'll be checking back in if we get another pass. Otherwise, I'll talk to you all in 35 days.

Congratulations Jester! You're making all us old men proud, LOL. Will you be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan when your training is all completed?

Yeah, I'm interested where you'll be deployed. Be safe, I'm sure you're the platoon leader...

Update:

Well, yeah, this MOS is the shit. The first week we learned out to use TNT and C4 to solve pretty much any problem you could face in life, then this week we built a freaking 60 ton Bailey Bridge with NO CRANE. This coming week we are going to be doing Urban Ops and breaching. You'd be surprised what you can do to a steel door with just a little bit of c4 and an IV bag. Tee hee hee.

On almost ANY situation, the answer is BLOW IT UP!!! Could there be a better job?

Oh, I'm not the oldest one here, cause there are 2 42 year olds in the Company, but I'm 3rd oldest. Best part, I'm kicking the SHIT out of these 18-19 year olds in the PT tests.

We have 204 soldiers in our Company. I have the 4 or 5 highest PT score of them all, 3rd highest in our Platoon of 70.

In the 2 mile run I ran a 13:08, which was 3rd fastest in the Company and fastest in the Platoon. Yeah, not bad for 33. 26 more days till Graduation, HOOOOAH!!!:cheers
