To begin with to get a clearance you must be sponsored by a firm with the type clearance they need - secret firm = secret clearance and top secret firm = top secret clearance. In a nut shell.:wtf
You will need to keep supplying the contractors with an up to date resume! Then give them all a call to confirm your interest. Don't hold yopur breath til they call you - it is a little slow now, stay in there, you have came to the right place.
Take Care

You don't have a choice of what kind of passport you get. Go ahead and get your 10-year passport now, so if a company needs you fast you are ready to fly.

All overseas jobs do not require a clearance from our US gov. ---- but all will require a current pass port - as good a place as any to get an application is the us post office, just ask for it. :blahslap To begin mail every firms you see in our contact list. KBR is a very good starting place - wage may not equal other contractors, but they have a lot of work in Iraq & Afghanistan, plus other. A couple we never hear about is TFI & Redsea housing - both are looking for help. A saying fits this situation ( any port in a rough sea ) yes it is used in other ways, but you get the point? Do not be afraid to use the tele[hone. Good luck.
Take care.

Where do you go to find the "Contact" list to mail out resume. My contact box had nothing in it. I guess I was looking at my own box, but can't find where the Contact box is with all the companies.:wtf
Go to Forums and look at company contacts.

THX Tchiz.
I still see nothing. Do I need to join and pay Subscription to view company contacts? Cuz now there looks as if there r no threads in that thread for me to view. :banghead
TP...yes, that's in the Subscription area and you must pay to get there.
Like Justus said, You have to be a member to get the good stuff.:rockwoot:
I have been here 2yrs, and I can tell you it's worth it!!!
Leads and info from members is allways great.
But you won't get any help until you are a member.
Hate to sound mean but it is what it is.
Good Luck
