I need to blow off steam, rant & rave some!:rockwoot:

“Boy oh boy” have we got our country in a bad mess. The bail out plans, disgust me.
* - We are up to our ass all ready with the massive debts to China & Japan.
* - To provide money” – first a reduction in salary to the top 20 of management 25 to
30%. No bonus’s until the firm is sound, less percentages to sales agents!! No out of
town meetings to over 2 managers at a time and they must be approved. No super
high R&R meetings at any resort.
* - Money provided to existing banks – Not to be used for expansions or buy other
banking firms. It should only be used for internal needs, example to help people struggle thru without loosing there homes, but no help to people who borrowed money they could not possibly pay back. These inflated loan applications, approved by these ( dumb ass’s) are a big part of our countries financial trouble’s. People go to apply for a loan – are sold on believing they can pay back more then they actually can?. Real estate people – convince people to ask a price way beyond the value of their property. Then inflate applications by the firm to sell the property.
* - Vehicle manufacturers USA. All makes – They have inflated prices, with highly Ridiculous over value prices for their product, then tack on all sorts of extra cost. Now they are crying for bail out money – this industry really needs major controls placed on them to get our tax money. If the US major manufacture’s Would lower their prices across the board by say 30% , cut upper management salary say the top 100 spots by 15 to 20%, no bonus to any one at their firm, then they may work out of a hole? Our US government can help by not using out tax money to buy them dam overseas vehicles, that shows a lot of pride and confidence in our American workers and their produced product.
People see all the foreign vehicles and think why do I try to our own government is not trying to help!!!!!
* - Company’s, that get into big problems over bad management should be allowed to fail
hard / harsh, dam right. Plain, and simple – As individuals we miss payments and make bad money decisions, guess what ‘Uncle Sam, is not standing by to provide money to us. For the 20+ years I operated my own engineering & construction company – at no time did I get any help from congress– if I messed up on a quote , I simply had to work my way out of the mistake.
*- As to our war debt in Iraq & Afghanistan, it is shamefully wrong. We went after Osama Terrorists group in Afghanistan we should be on our way out, now the people there can help themselves out of the mess they are in by their self, we have done all we can to help them. In Iraq we went to remove a bad ruler ( Saddam!) we have done so. Where in our constitution doe’s it say we have to correct a century of bad judgment by the people them self in all these countries. IT IS PAST TIME WE GOT OUT OF THERE DAMIT. Let us not get any more of our people killed in that place and let us not continue to spend money we do not have to give those, sand-------. Most of their male population has not & will not work! Work is left up to their women – that’s their country – so be it. Set a 90 to 120 day schedule to pull out do not leave our troops stranded in the desert. Stop now rebuilding their country for them, that’s very stupid. We can use our tax money to improve our own country.
* - I see now, a major CC company is raising their rates to 25%, keep you CC in your Pocket, are leave it at home, as much as possible! If you use them – set a rule to pay the balance as it comes due and not be late. The other CC firms will follow suit. It seems to me when your down everybody jumps on the band wagon. We have no business providing CC company’s any bail out funds.
* - Foreign aid – The amount of aid we give all the foreign countries is stupid & very ridiculous. As it is now, we send aid to a country by way of vicious rulers, guess what? it will not get to the starving people that need it, instead it ends up in the pocket of the ruler. The only aid we should give other countries, is if we can bring food to their country – and – distribute it our self. PERIOD. No money involved in the aid.
* - What happened to the old food for oil concept? People overseas need food & we need oil to grow that food. If a barrel of oil is 44 gals. It is worth it to us to trade them a barrel of wheat, corn, soybeans? I think so. Is it un fair because we want to be treated fair? The people in the bottom ranks do not receive the benefits from oil sales.
* - The bullshit contract given to build our embassy in Baghdad is a bad joke and A bad mark on the American workers. This should not happen again. The cost over runs on most of these projects, is due to non-qualified OBO FOLKs & LOCAL LABOR. No out of the states contractors should be allowed to bid. A few local helpers is ok but enough to flood the job as it is now.
•- It is time we bring our money home !!!! Do away with allowing our factories to relocate out of country, to take advantage of the low cost, then send the product back to the USA to sale it. :AR15Did you ever see a firm relocate to produce for a lower cost – then reduce the price to us??? I will have more to come but not soon.

Take Care drink beer.:cheers

I hate to say this, but I don't think it's gonna get any better for at least 2-3 years. Lets hope the man the majority voted for does a good job. At least the people overseas like us again. I am experiencing this now, they all think we are on the right track. Lets hope we can pull together as a country, and get past our differences.

But have you guys realized we will soon have BO in the Whitehouse?
We got what we got, let's hope it is better than the last 4 years or so. Bailing out the economy is going to cost us, no matter how or who does it.
Let's just "get er done".

Personally iam against the whole bailout plan, we've already seen AIG blow bucks and are now back asking for more and now the big 3 auto companies are asking. I really do feel bad for the employess who will/would lose their jobs, but about the millions already out of work or working for less money because their company fled overseas, why didn't the government bail out World Com, Enron and other companies, why now with those who in my opinion are crooks. Here's my plan, give every single American citizen 3 million dollars, they can do what they want, invest it, pay off their debt (pay off the mortgage and stop forclosure), party hearty, what ever, at least the money will go directly to the people and not some slick shyter looking for money. :cheers

I think those big corparations should bite the pavement just like any common man, an how in the hell can you give a bounus to someone who drove their company pass no return.
