When did it happen? How fast were you going? What happened?
Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!

I had a 2007 r6 that i bought in december. On April 10, 2008 i was head home from eating lunch with a friend, and a kid was skipping school from Madison High School, he pulled out in front of me and i T-boned him going about 50mph. Fucked my shit up, broke my left leg in 4 places (2 breaks in my femer), broke both bones in my left arm, my right wrist, 5 ribs on my left side that punctured my left lung, and my left collar bone. I was rushed to Brook Army Medical Center and was in surgery for 8 and a half hours. I now have two rods in my leg, and a plate with screws in both bones in my arm, and in my collar bone. My xrays look pretty rowdy. Its been almost 8 months, i just started walking about a month and a half ago. Im still not 100 percent, but every week i get better and better. I havent made a payment on any of my credit cards in 8 months so the interest really fucked me hard. So like i said before i am desperite for a job. :banghead

Jester, why is it I can't imagine your mother has had a peaceful nights sleep in DECADES? You are one crazy mother .......
Did I hear something about boot camp?

No, they gave up trying to keep me safe from myself at an early age. :rockwoot:
Yep, I've been home doing nothing. This whole past summer I've travelled around this wonderful country of ours watching baseball games and now football games. Along with that, I've gotten an American symbols sleeve tattoo. As time went on, I got more and more into it and now I just don't feel like I've done my part. I know I did all that crap overseas, but it just doesn't feel like I've really DONE something.
So, with my birthday coming up, I decided, fuck it, I'm going to join the Army Reserves. 1. because I want to do my part to support the troops, other than just say "I support the troops" and 2. because I've always wanted to know if I could make it through boot camp.
HuuaAAAA!!!

Here is one for you Jester, not for the faint of heart, we will be doing this again next year!!
Here's the deal! A chance to ride the highest motor-able pass in the world. Something not for the faint of heart or light in cojones! I've included a link below from our trip through the Himalayas back in '05. Incredible ride! We only went as high as 14,800 ft on that trip. On the one I'm setting up for this coming Aug/early Sept, we'll go as high as 18,500. We'll have to ride to the pass, run around and take our pictures and then leave. Oxygen is a little thin above 15 - 16,000 ft. This trip was recently done by a friend of mine who is seventy years old, so you can't wimp out on "I'm too old/outta shape". I'll be setting up the logistics for this, so with any luck most of that will be invisible for you. You need to set aside about a week to ten days for this trip. You can't just fly into these mountains! Understand that you be in one of the most remote areas of the world. There will be a couple of days where we won't see any other humans except ourselves. Most nights will be spent in "hotels", but based on what everyone wants to see, there may be a night or two in tents. You'll survive. Did I mention that we'd be riding Royal Enfield's - ones that shift on the right and brake on the left. Trust me - you can adapt. These bikes aren't the most advanced, but they'll run for two/three days at that altitude on a single tank of gas! Of course you won't go any where very quickly either - which is not a bad thing - sometimes the roads aren't there either. Mother Nature is a bitch up in the mountains.
It's not just another motorcycle tour - what I'm talking about is truly a once in a lifetime adventure. You'll talk about this for the rest of your life. Did I mention Malcolm Smith (Yes -the Malcolm Smith) is on board with this along with Joe Bonello - photog extraordinaire. I'm trying to keep the group to about 8-12 people. If you commit to this - I really need you to commit to it. If there is enough interest, My wife has volunteered to spend a few days with your significant others shopping for jewelry and other treasures in New Delhi. She know the best places to shop. We can also work in a trip to the Taj Mahal for everyone.

Cool pictures Megawatt. Looks pretty damn cold over there. I got altitude sickness just caging it to the Grand Canyon. I love those Enfields, they go anywhere.

About $8000 to $10,000 per person with support group, not including flight to and from.
But worth every penny to do something only a handful of people have ever done. :cheers

I miss riding my 1992 HD LowRider too, but I came across this new one here in Germany.

Click below on link Worlds FIrst Hybrid Motorcycle. Make sure the volume is up LOUD.
Let me know if you like to buy one.
JUST HAD TO HAPPEN !!!!
The price of gasoline on the rise has contributed to the growing sales of hybrid Cars.
Only stands to reason that someone would invent a Hybrid Motorcycle!
