Having just returned from a trip that included a drive thru Alberta & British Columbia. It is unbelievable the work they have going on. Miles of pipe line, many high rise buildings. New highways. Boy. That place is so big if they ever get the population needed, they will easy pass us by..
I did not see much going on in Alaska, may be all out of site???? I have maintained for years we need to cultivate a good relationship with - CANADA
& MEXICO.
Oil cost /////// I would like for us to not ship our oil overseas!! tool up to make use of it for ourself. So called sweet oil is nice but if we sell our heavy crude for 100 a barrell and pay 150 a barrell for the ( sweet oil ) we are in a no win situation! The only way to solve this is politics at the poles. However I see no one at this point we count on to fix anything.
Coal is yes dirty, it can be cleaned up, so why not use more of it for power houses, and devote the heavy oil, to domestic use????
I know where several power houses that are not running, if they were, they use a lot of natural gas? We need the gas for heating out homes. NUKE
power ? I think so, along with hydro power, added to with windmills and solar, is our way to independence.
The massive amount of wealth leaving the USA is staggering.

Mex Fish Guide:cheers Well-- here in Ok I see props goin through quite often for windmills just down the road a few miles. T Boone is spendin alot of money investing in them. They are some huge pieces of iron. They screwed us a few years ago by not keepin the Referines goin. Now it would take an act of Congress to get permits, it would be years before any production. SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS WE ARE IN. We use alot of coal at the power house in Ponca City, I think it comes out of Wyoming. THANK GOD IT'S NOT THE STUFF" MADE IN CHINA." Staggering amounts of wealth leaving America?? $42 BILLION annually to Mexico alone.

Perhaps you know now that speculators on Wall St. has driven up the price of oil. Some like to think it is supply and demand, but if you look very closely, you will be able to see were a lot of our imported oil is going. And that is into the national oil reserves. Check out how much goes in there everyday.
BY THE WAY, HOW MANY AMERICANS CAN GET JOBS IN CANADA, unless it is with an American company?
Happy Voting, it's coming soon.
I don't know if the oil around Tulsa is sweet or not, but they said the fields were dry in the early '70s, well right next to almost all the old pumps are new wells and new pumps...wonder what they're pumping? I see new drilling going on from Arkansas to Okcy, and it is probably wider than that.
As for supply and demand, well yeah that is the way it should be. But I think they are lying about the supply. Have not seen any stations closed for no gas lately, but the price keeps going up. Seems more like "we demand more profits" from the oil companies more than a supply problem. They seem to be able to supply all the $4.00 a gallon gas you want. You occasionally hear a senator or a comittee say they are going to look into it. They talk big and loud...then nothing...or just a little "everything is okay, after all" type speech, if anything. Or is it after they get their cut?
....now where did I put my beer?
