ts clearance

Im new to applying..how do I or what do I have to do to get TS clearance?

short and simple, is that a company has to have a project that requires TS and then they will submit you for one through the orginization that requires it (DOD, DOS, etc).

There have been jobs that require the ts and take anyone, which is the easiest ways to get a company to get it for you. Moscow, China, and now probably Iraq, with time.
Other than jobs that have an eminent need to get done, it's kind of hard to get the company to get it for you because it costs them money to do so.

That being said, it's not impossible, you just have to keep your eyes open.
