Fellow Rats I need some input here for my freaks out there. ITT is supposed to be giving me an offer to go to Afghanistan. However the whereabouts is the big surprise the guy I have been dealing with doesn't know much about Afghanistan since he doesn't work with that crew.

My question is why wont they tell you where you are going? I mean shit Afghanistan is a big country so just saying well you are going there isn't good enough. Do your companies tell you hey you are going here and living here?

Good friend of mine just landed there this week,,,as far as i know the job is at the Air Force base --inside --the Air Force base ,,read what i say,, in the middle of the great no-where,,very safe so to speak.
This site is starting to suck large in my view,,,,,,, not many people working it seems ????// craft importance to me seems to say this is an electricians site only.
I know much more than i say only because of this and others than pick you apart.

If you are going to a F.O.B. Hay dare ,,Up date from what i know about Assghanistan,,The guy i know that was going to go to the Air Base called B. S. because it was from a new part spin off of Washington Group. Anyways ,they wanted him to go to D.C. for 10 days,stay in the reserved room they had for him,,,,,,,,,but he was to pay for it ,,190 or so per night,,,,,then the room that was to be the 2 person conex split in half with the bathroom in the middle turned into a 8 man tent with one shitter.
That is the short version of what i was told,,anyways he is off to better places,,one of the good Stans,,38p hour ,,318 p diem.
I would say more but am kinda pissed at the moment.
I f i could only wire my own house and 440 shop myself it would be a better world,,,,oh helll ,,i just did and it passed the first time,oops musta forgot ,ben to busy doing nothing i guess.

Yep ,i agree 100 percent. All i was trying to do is somehow get this site back to what it used to be,,which used to be fairly good in my view,, just tired of the -Craft Importance - thread. If you all read it i think maybe you will agree,,or not?
I try and post up about things i do know of such as what was asked of the job in Afghanistan and then pass it along.

Why start such a thread and not think other paying members may have a different view and wonder what kind of site is this anyhow?
