Hey Mex...I agree on some issues, and I don't trust many people, regardless of their type of headgear... But there are people that would let their children die before medical treatment from an "infadel", and I have seen this. It seems sometimes the more educated, the harder the spirit becomes. I know there is a lot of ignorance in this world, regardless of national origin or education...but to hear something like "we only hired you to fill out our American employee quota", just shows you what an education, and a selfish culture can do to some people. I believe, if I overheard that statement, I would have filed a grievance with the US Government (I would find someone to listen, believe me) for racism in the workplace...if enough people heard this idiot say something of this magnitude, I would have his ass booted so far out of the US Embassy building program, he would leave town with his rear cheeks smokin'...he'd definitely remember my name, and my boot. Imagine one of us saying something foul around the wrong woman in charge...you'd be on the next flight to palooka-ville, and rightly so. This f#$%&er should be hanged for the vultures to pick his eyes and bite off his nose and ears...literally, pick his face clean!!! This really pisses me off! Democrats, yes, I was raised in a working union family and a straght democrat party ticket, was the only way to vote.
I still lean that way, but today we have a lot of grey area in party differences. But you give me a choice between a man in a terbane around his head and a man with a halo around his head, I will take the halo every time. In fact I will take the halo every time on a man or a women.
To me there are better folks in our country for the top post! A non politian, working man, of good faith, and down to earth good ol common sense would be nice for a choice. Educated men in every field, suround the president, to give advice and try to influnce the person. Good ol common sense will prevail.
Mr Carter was a very honest man of faith, but he was surounded by dumb ass folks, and did not think he should fire them, that is a little to good a man. If you are working a team of horses and they continue to disobey you and walk your corn down, do you allow this are do you make them listen and pay attenshion, I was taught to get their attenshion and then talk to them. It some times took a sapling the size of a broom stick are
a check line, but they will listen.
Most people will say we have to have a degreed laywer for president, what the hell for? He does not go to court for us, he makes decisions that change the world.

Not sure who you worked for, but I was offered a three month contract because three techs left and paid their own way home because they had a "supervisor" who was former military and a hardass. I would think that the management would figure out pretty quick where the problem was and remidy it by tossing the hardass. Now if it was for safety reasons, but not for any other reason, the guy should be gone.

Only way to change this is at the polls down thru the years.

Looks like we will have McCain on one side and Obama on the other, if that is not a piss poor choice for the working man????

only thing about them crooks in office leaving is that they still get a government pension for life after one or two terms, what kind of shit is that. And another gripe, I had applied for a DOS position as a IMTS tech and they said they would not take anyone over the age of 59 because they had to vested in 5 years, I said who gives a crap about being vested, I only wanted the job, I was qualified for it, had gone through the process before and was accepted and was stopped because of an illness I had back then, but could reapply later. So why can the government discriminate on age, but no one else can "legally".
