:banghead A few things that have been bothering me, lately. Been hearing more, and more of companies only paying per diem for days worked. What do you do on non working days, just magiclly appear at home for your meals, and stuff? We all know the contractors are charging FULL PER DIEM to the government for the whole 7 days!
Also, I've been hearing more, and more of companies paying a certain, established "rate" for hours worked over 40. We all have to deal with losing time and one half on overseas jobs since 1988, but as far as I know, here, in AMERICA, the "established rate" for hours worked over 40 is 1 1/2 times the regular rate of pay, and it is NOT negotiable, it's the LAW. :banghead
Just wanted to get some stuff off my chest, thanks
