I will be going to Iraq in the next few weeks and would like to hear from some of the rat bros. over there to see what I should bring with me seeing how I only have a 50 pound limit. Any advice would be helpfull. What can I get there and what will I need to bring.

try shipping your heavy stuff, tools, boots, half your cloths etc. a week before you go. that will limit your 50 lbs.make sure to bring your ipod.as far as the rest, it depends on where in iraq as hr said.you will have access to a px.oh and ya, stay low.:AR15

I wonder why they are keeping the wages down in Iraq, while the State Department folks have been refusing to go there and now can't be forced to go either.

Bring some light winter cloths and of course summer cloths. For the winter you can take long sleeve denium shirts and for summer thin long sleeve shirts for the heat. You can get pretty much anything you want from the px. It will be determined where you are at in Iraq.

What type of work are you going over to do? Have a good trip.
