First let me get up on my box and relaxed.
Iraq how many of you watching the deal on the powerhouse we spent millions of tax dollars to get up running, and dependable? We then turned it over to the ragheads, now it is all ready falling down around their ears. :wtf
You do not make tech people in 1 generation let alone 3 or 4 years, and in that area forget it. How many more millions will we spend to again get it up and going?
Notice the american auto makers are crying over the overseas competion, &
claming the high cost of american wages are killing them, a big dam lie.
Nissan, Toyota, etc. are selling their vehicles for a higher price then the american made products. Instead of getting off their ass and getting busy, they just blame american workers. All of them seem to forget during ww 11 american production workers out did all the world combined in quanity and quality. Design a good product, let us build it, and we can make the other folks go home.
What ever happened to the marine barracks / kitchen, electrical problems? Did the contractor bring the place up to "US" standards at no cost to us?
Hell no, as some folks have told me down thru the years,
"can't make any money doing it right the first time" guess not.
From the time I started working I done the best job I could, run EMT I took pride in a job well done, plumb, level, & square. Install switchgear, plumb, level, Square, & secured properly. I do not care what other folks are doing on the job, install conduit, pull wire, are just as important as termination. Folks we need some way to convince contractors ofour worth, I think our tax payers deserve quality installations for their tax dollar, in Iraq, Kuwait, or new york.:rockwoot:
I can take 12 hand picked men and and out do 3 times that many of any other workers in the world, and yes it would be right when finished. What are we too do when all the overseas work is done by the Turks? with a few phillipenos mixed in? Work at home? "no" the mexicans have taken over the building trades in most of this country. Go to work in a factory "no" the factory work has all been sent out of the county. :wtf
People making decisions how to proceed overseas, that have never been down in the trenchs working with the peoples of other country's. Should not have that responsibility period....:blahslap
Well let me get down and give the box to some one else, I think I will get another cold one and listen.:2cents
Take Care
Mexfishguide:cheers
