As of right now PainterMike is on a short term job. He must of e-mailed from his hotel. He sure misses being in China,but for some reason was not asked back. I have a feeling alot of jobs are longer than they ought to be. Thats about all I need to say about that. If Painter Mike wants to write back soon he will. He told me tonight they were going to start working 12s and 16s and maybe Sundays. He may be to tired to write, we will see. Thanks for responding,PainterMikes betterhalf.

For a second there, Wild Rover thought Paintermike might be working a little too hard, answering in the third person, but then Wild Rover realized it was Mrs. Paintermike answering FOR Paintermike...Wild Rover feels better. Wild Rover also feels better that Paintermike is working, and hopes he is happy.
Where is Paintermike working? Can he say? Anyhow, we are all glad he got back out to work. If only one guy gets a job, the site has served it's purpose.
Does anybody know how long the Beijing project supposed to last? Hearing lots of rumors....

When I went to work for Zachry in early 2005 they were asking those of us going to Cambodia if we would be interested and had us fill out/sign contengent contracts, then we were delayed at the end of the project (cambodia). We were told that it would be a 4 year project with the 1st year and 4th year to be done mostly by locals.

I'm not sure how accurate that was or is, but I don't know of anyone from the cambodia project that went straight to Bejing

Dear WildRover, PainterMike is in Munagra, Nigarura"like peterpiper picked a whole lot of pickers? I would LOVE to be on some of these jobs just to check out all the bull shit that goes on. I love to do constuction work, But I have a 15 year old smart ASS, I have to get thru life right now. Milatiry Acadamey sounds good right now! I stand behind PainterMike on his jobs 100%. He is a perfectionist like I am in painting.Love the work thanks to my husband. We have been married 33 years . A pain sometimes, but I would not trade him. He knows that. Love you guys website. The China job will be finished before the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. They are almost finished with the secure building and are already sending people home. Next, they will bring about 1000 Chinese workers in to finish the surrounding buildings. Check out the website on the Department of State for more details.

This is a quick note from paintermikes betterhalf. I for one could tell the main problem at the Pig and Maggies.Mike took me there several time , the GIRLS did not like PainterMikes betterhalf. Thats their problem! I"am a one women man myself. No room for others in my bed!

Like my better half has saidI'm in NICAQUGARA, and boy does this place remind me of home!!! YOU KNO THE TRASH EVERYWHERE!!!! They don't hav much yard to mow though. I am really glad to hav a job for now , but stil;l lookin for the next gig.THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR HELP!!! Has anybody heard who recieved the job in the other Chinese Providence??? Would really like to see the difference in culture.
