An idea of a Rat Pack "Vacation/Get Together" has been an on again, off again, discussion that has been thrown around many times on this site. We've even been tossing it around in the Council for some time.
From the discussions we've had we think that Las Vegas, NV would be the perfect place. There is something there for EVERYONE. The weather is always OUTSTANDING, and it's probably the easiest, IN THE MIDDLE, place for everyone to get to. Do I even need to mention that, "what happens in vegas......?"
Now, the time frame has been trickier, and is not set in stone, but right now is one that we are leaning toward with schedules being what they are. First we were thinking about December 12th, because it's Rat Pack International's birthday each year, BUT with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's being close, plus most wanting to spend that precious time with family, that is NOT going to work.
So, the next best thing is right in the middle of that year, June 22nd-24th. ANY and EVERYONE is more than welcome to come early, leave later, or do whatever you like, but to have the majority of people get together around that time would be AWESOME. We're open to discussion, but REALLY liking this time frame right now and getting it set in stone now, would making everyone trying to book in the same hotel, EXTREMELY easier.
