Ok, currently a bunch of other Rats and I are in one of the LAMEST postes to date. Not the Marines, but the post people, are not only like the NORMAL post people, but even worse.
Long story short, let me give you an example. I rang the "buy everyone in the bar a round" bell and even announced "What's everyone drinking, I'M buying". Now I didn't sit there ringing the bell for 20 minutes like an annoying asshole, just a quick ring a ding ding. Everyone there, turned, looked at me like I had just offended their mother, and went back to talking. I have NEVER in my LIFE ever even HEARD of someone ringing the bell to only end up buying just a beer for themselves.
Anyway, this makes the MSG Bar really bad, because the Embassy people don't ever support them. Another example, the Marines were set up for 250 people to go to the Marine Ball. They have only sold 112 with only three days left to sell them.
SO, we came up with an idea. The embassy won't support our troops, well WE sure as hell will. I've got the Marine Bar's APO address and we are accepting donations of ANYTHING that would go in a bar.
So far we have these things in the works:
A GOOD Dart board with chalk scoring boards and GOOD darts.
I've sent an email to MR.BOOCH, as he makes custom Poker Tables
and would even like to get the following if anyone knows how or where to go get them:
Air Hockey Table
Bar Mounted Video Poker (multi game) station
Pinball Machine (doubt full size is possible, but a HIGH Quality bar mounted one would be cool)
Beer Bong
And as I said, we are hoping to get in touch with Mr.BOOCH.
Any other ideas or want to help out. Get in contact with me through PM or Email. At this point, they will even accept checks because they are 2000 short for the Marine Ball and can't even order the Embassy Polos because they don't have money for that either.
