I was talking to a friend that works for KUK/ B+R today...Sadly,he informed me that a man that Expat, Natch, and I worked under while in Tijuana, Mexico, died last week of a major heart attack while walking to work in Wash., DC. His name was Mike Biaggie (pronounced BEE-AH-JEE). He was a good, fair, honest and knowledgeable man, and knew when the craftsmen knew their job, to let them have their fun, and to keep out of their hair as long as we got the job done right the first time. We had a lot of fun on his job, but we put in the footage and he left us alone, like all PM's should. He was 55...much too young. This work will eventually kill us all, but he was one of the good ones, and sadly, he will be missed.
May You Rest in Peace Mike.

He was a good man and a pleasure to work with. I'm not too much younger than he, kind of reminds you to smell the roses because you never know when it might be your turn.

Mike worked for me as my project engineer before he went to KBR ---a good engineer and a good guy!!
There are those out there in our biz I wouldn't shed a tear over, But this time we truly lost a good guy.
Good Bye Mike

That is really some sad news. I liked Mike and had a lot of respect for him for the same reasons that Wild Rover already mentioned. He knew his job and helped us do ours.
The industry has lost another good one and he will be missed.
I raise my glass in salute and say....Bless you Mike.
