Hey everyone, newbie looking for help. First, a little background...
I have worked in the construction industry for the last fifteen years. With time spent as a painter, roofer, carpenter, site super and the last 9 years as a construction manager. My interest overseas began after talking to a friend stationed in Djibouti with the Army about 6 months ago. He put me in contact with some KBR personnel on the base and I have been corresponding with them since, as well as being registered on their site. Doesn't sound like anything is going to happen there for a while though. That's the problem, now that I started the process I really want to get overseas sooner rather than later.
I have spent the last couple months waiting to hear from KBR and looking to see what I can find on my own with the net. I would like to really get serious, but don't want to just keep beating my head against the wall applying blind on company sites. Any insight or direction you members could give would truly be appreciated.
I read the last thread about people not posting so I thought I would start out strong - hope I asked in the right spot.
