Got this from a member to give out to all you Thailand guys/girls.

Our planned Club program for Sunday, May 21, 2006

Get another relaxing start to a Sunday morning ...with the Pattaya
Expats Club's late-morning start time of speakers programme from
1130 am plus an optional brunch served from 1030am till after 12
noon. The meeting entry cost is recently slightly increased to
members by 15 Baht, to 80 Baht entry and non-members 100 Baht in
conjunction with several menu 'improvements'.

A couple of interesting features this Sunday both artistic and to
delight the tummy. Past BBC Tv viewers will be able to enjoy the
company of a fine actor in our club when Mr Jake Anthony from the
U.K comes to the stage. He was in the famous comedy show The
Goodies on the BBC. Scenes from an actor's life - we hope he'll
have a fund of back scenes stories from some well known Tv shows.
We also have a tummy treat from the Pattaya based 'S.S Sausage'
company in the shape of lady presenter Khun Jan. Meeting manager
Steve Wilson says "She is a very nice young lady, and is going to
bring some samples of her products along with her, for the members
to try." Sounds good.

Members know our reasons to be a Pattaya Expats Club member are
many and varied but one of the best reasons is our PEC Group Health
Insurance policy handled for us by local brokers, AA Insurance.
Their staff will have all the details for the next few weeks in the
Clubhouse, with one set premium cost (any age up to 65) of around
10,000 baht for 1 million baht medical cover. This group policy
renewal date is 24 May each year - so now is the optimum time to
join the club and to sign up for health cover. This PEC policy
through Thai Insurance Co Ltd saves a 60 year old up to 60 % on the
same type of policy taken out individually. his Sunday also spend
time in our foyer exhibition displays, throughout the meeting
period from 1030. In the club's greeting, programme and memberships
area you can get Club memberships at only 300 Baht expiring 31 Dec
2007 or 600 Baht for Life Membership. (Bring two very small 'visa'
photos and your card is laminated and ready at the same meeting.)
The sponsors display tables have in-depth information from regular
expert contributors in their field. Our Microphone sponsorship
announcement at 11.10am confirms who is available to consult free
of charge. For example check out Legal services, Accounting,
Insurance, Real Estate, Business set-up's, obtaining business
licences, Import/Export Licences, Visa services, Marriage
Affidavit's, Translation's, Construction, Renovation, Decoration,
Contracts & Wills - and all that is at just one advertising
sponsors table - ...Evans Marketing. See Frank & Eric about their
services. According to club MC Brian this company can converse with
our International audience in English, German, French, Italian,
Swedish, and Thai !

The Pattaya International Hospital table usually includes regular
FREE testing of blood groups, blood sugar, blood pressure and lung
function to help you stay healthy. Steve or Chris partners from
Liberty Computers Co Ltd are usually on hand to advise on your
computer queries, Khun Wine or Peter Smith on Insurance policies
from AA Insurance - including the club's own heavily discounted
'group' health policy. The Manager of 'Baan Sabai Jai' advises on
alternative medicine and therapeutic centre queries. Emergency
services company FAST are there, plus our Thai Immigration Service
desk for members Thai Visa questions with either Pattaya's British
Embassy warden Barry Kenyon or the knowledgeable Darren Mc Garry
from Key Visa Co. Khun Suwanna and staff from Lotus drinking water
purification systems have pure water initiatives.

Khun Tomdee often has Thai lawyers from his SuperConsultants
company at your service with knowledgeable law advice. Ossi, our
club Golf-Pro advises on members golf tours and regular
tournaments. Plus, our large take-away information point with
leaflets and publications from hundreds of member to member
services available in Pattaya is open until the end of the meeting.

Our optional refreshments/brunch is from approx 1045 to 1230, with
meeting speakers from 1130. Our Meeting Entry cost is now (set by
the Hotel) 80 Baht for members, 100 Baht for non-members and
tickets are put on sale at 1030 am when doors open for seating -
which is in friendly format tables for ten - please allow new
arrivals to join your table. Seating is for 200, and it gets nearly
full to capacity most weeks.
This week our MC is Brian Maxey, so come and listen in this Sunday
morning, at 2nd Rd Grand Sole Hotel for all your questions and
answers about nearly everything for living safely and legally in
Pattaya !
