Father's Day 2006, June 18th

We are scattered to all parts of the world and its hard to keep in touch and sometimes to travel when you need to ----
So I will share my tale of Fathers and Jobs that never quite get done---Just two more weeks..... this C/O, that warranty item, whatever.
My dad had Leukemia and had been up and down for quite a while but lately he was getting way down
He would call me every week or two and ask when can you come home --it was always another week--- two weeks-- on and on ( and a good job for a good client and a good employer) Finally I said," Look I have to go My Dad is sick and I need to see him," I had my bags packed and in the car to go, I called to say I was on the way--- My brother told me, he died this morning....
When it is time to take care of things, do it!!!
There is never a good time to leave in this business but the job will get done anyways, and that job, for all my hard work and effort, was completety gutted and remodeled in a few years anyways, and now is only a dim memory to few.
If you have a dad out there give him a call and send a card
