I am an Army medic currently deployed till Oct 06 in Baghdad, Iraq. I have an EMT-B and CPR credintials. I am very fluent in Arabic and know a little Spanish.
I am stationed in Brook Army Medical Center(BAMC) in Ft. Sam Houston, TX. I volunteered for deployment as soon as I found out my job at BAMC was basicaly giving IVs, checking vital signs and stock, restock, clean patients and some of the most mundane tasks you can imagine. I am deployed with 10th CSH out of Ft Carson, CO. I work as a medic in the ER of Ibn Sinah Hospital in Baghdad. I have learned and mastered several skills beyond my scope of practice back in the states. I take pride in providing emergancy level care to our troops. And since I am a fluent speaker of Arabic, my team relies on my when we get local national patients.

My estimated time in service(ETS) will end on Aug, 08. I am interested in persuing contract work, preferably with the State Department, in Kuwait or Iraq. Since I haven't done any contract work in the past, I would be interested in networking and getting first hand advice THAT WILL SET ME UP FOR SUCCESS IN THE OVERSEAS CONTRACT WORK.

Please note that I am currently serving in Baghdad from Oct, 05 till Oct, 06.

Welcome to the site. I'm not totally sure that you can find something in your field: medical, but I do know they sometimes staff Medics with the site. Most of the time they are locals, but with the Iraq US embassy in the works, they may be trying to keep the locals away from the American workers.

Like I said, you can always give it a shot by going through the Company Contacts list, or getting in touch with the guy doing the hiring for that Embassy in Iraq, inside. To do so, become a subscriber.

If you want to Subscribe all you need to do is log into www.RatPackInternational.com. On the main page, top right hand corner, there is a box with PayPal or Credit Card. Click on either payment option and follow the instructions.

OR

On the main page, scroll down, half way down the page, there is "RatMart" Click on any of the images and you will be taken to the store. There are several pages of options as to subscribing. 24.99/month, 6 months for 150 and free shirt, other shirt options, etc.
