I have 3 1/2 years of college studies in advanced mathamatics and quantum physics, but dropped out and went to work.
I went through 5 years of apprenticeship with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in Decatur, IL. I have certified as a welder at 5 different nuclear plants over the years and at other facilities besides nuclear. I have certified in valve repair, fiber optics, instrumentation, hazardous waste, SWPPP, 30 hrs OSHA and more.
I have obtained a "top secret" clearance with the US State Dept for work at the US Embassy in Moscow. I studied Russian for over 6 months and have a certificate from the Foreign Service Institute in Washington DC for excellence in the Russian language. I am fluent in Spanish and also speak some Finnish and Arabic. I have worked at the US Embassy in Moscow, US Embassy Mexico City , US Consulate Frankfurt, Germany, US Consulate Stuutgart, Germany and US Consulate Leningrad, USSR.
As a Construction Project Manager I have built over 25 million square feet of commercial and industrial buildings worldwide at a cost of over $2 billion.
Currently have been contracted to Florida Power & Light at one of their Nuclear Facilities. Have been with them for about a year, and am working on Security Upgrades. I have been cleared for Nuclear Power work.
